Welcome to Kaikohe Christian School

As can be seen by our Vision statement, mission statement and guiding principle, we are serious about Christ being the centre of our school. We want our students to find their place in the Kingdom of God, having developed the tools to become useful and effective members.

The school is a ministry of the Heart of the North Celebration Centre.The church is part of an apostolically led and envisioned movement of churches working together relationally.The school's proprietor is the Celebration Trust.

As with all schools in NZ a board is elected by teachers and parents. The board consists of three parent representatives, one staff representative, the principal and two propretor representatves. The board is responsible for the broad direction of the school.

The school is spread over two campuses. In Kerikeri we have new entrants up to year 8. In Kaikohe we have new entrants up to year 13. We are an integrated school so we follow the NZ curriculum framework. The primary and intermediate sections of the school use the Interact Curriculum which is a biblical based curriculum designed by New Zealander, Helen Pearson.

Our senior students do Unit and Achievement Standards and gain credits on the National Qualifications Framework.
